Delayed show update

ARRGGHHH... technology. I have not been able to log into the blog all week. I'm sorry this post is so late in comng. I have put a slideshow from the 4-h show at the bottom. We had an excellent weekend. The morning started out rocky as one of the trailers had a flat, so we had to leave the 2 horses I was planning to show behind. We did take 5 horses and 9 riders from here, and 2 good friends Amelia and Christine joined us. Both will be showing as part of the M&M team in the future. Sara and Denise also brought Badger down. They wanted him to have an opportunity to get used to Mullet Hall. It was nice to catch up on their lives.

It has been a hectic week here. I've tried to get out on the trails 3 times this week, but something has come up each time. I did replace my truck yesterday. We now have the ability to pull a gooseneck trailer. I will be taking Sierra back to Virginia tomorrow after the show kids lesson. On our way home I will be stopping to see a couple of potential lesson horses.

Shiloh's Tall Tale aka. Shoalih's Tale

Showing off my baby

The above slide show is pictures I've managed to accumulate of my pride and joy...Shiloh. These are all pictures I've found of him on the web. They start with him as a yearling at the Saratoga sale and go up through his winning at the race track. You will find more pictures of him in the bottom slide show at the Clemson show with one of my students aboard back in Dec. 2007. Hopefully I will be able to add some pictures of myself showing him in the near future.

You'll notice a couple of the pictures are during his time at Canter. Please check out their website at http://www.canterusa.org/ohio They are running on very hard times right now and every penny people can send their way is greatly appreciated by the horses. If everyone who checks our blog regularly could send just $5 they could feed a horse for a month.
